Nekropolis - film certification

Following the Members’ screening of the film, the Committee is asked to apply the classification of the film.  The British Board of Film Certification has agreed to grant the local authority the authority to set the classification level on this film in accordance with their guidance.

Members viewed the film and afterwards the Chair welcomed discussion of the content. Members had the BBFC guidance to hand in order to help them classify the film.

Members felt that the content of the film was slightly disturbing and would not be suitable to younger or more sensitive children. They agreed that the classification of the film should be set at 15.

It was agreed that Nekropolis film be classified as 15.
