It was AGREED -

That the Minutes of the meeting of the Panel held on 9 February 2023 be confirmed and signed by the Chair as a correct record.

The Chair thanked Members for their contribution to the Panel over the past year. A special thanks was given to Councillor Tyson-Payne who has been an asset to this Committee.

The update from the Housing Task and Finish Group was given under Item 8. There were no other updates.

Councillor Broomfield introduced the report and outlined its purpose. The Planning Manager explained that improvements have been made to the process, including signposting the website so that it is clearer to the public.

Councillors Broomfield and Gomer thanked the Officers involved for their contribution to the Task and Finish Group.

RESOLVED –

That Policy and Performance Scrutiny Panel noted the content of the report and the actions set out in Appendix 1 and passed these recommendations to Cabinet.

Councillor Duguid introduced the report and explained that the first three Tranches have now been tabled. Tranche 5 was due to come to this Committee in June.

That Policy & Performance Scrutiny Panel considered the fourth tranche of policies (Tenancy Support Policy, Domestic Abuse Policy, Specialist Accommodation Lettings Policy, Safeguarding (Housing) Policy and Mutual Exchange Policy).

The Panel considered the Forward Plan of Key Decisions.

It was AGREED that the report be noted.
