The purpose of the Committee is to act as a means of consultation in relation to Southampton International Airport Limited in accordance with the provisions of Section 35 of the Civil Aviation Act 1982 or any statutory modification or re-enactment thereof.  This is an external Committee merely facilitated by Eastleigh Borough Council.  A copy of the Constitution is available on request from nikki.dunne@eastleigh.gov.uk or by telephone: 02380 688298.

The Committee is made up of 26 Members representing local councils, residents, businesses and the Airport as required by the above Act. 

Although meetings are not generally open to the public, prior to the start of the meeting there will be a short session (maximum 15 minutes in total) giving the opportunity to relevant organisations, whose interests are not formally represented by a committee member, to speak.  Those wishing to participate should email or telephone as above in advance of the meeting to book a place.
